Putting food between two pieces of bread decreases its value by approximately $5

January 31, 2005

It’s true. Think about it. When you go to a restaurant, it is socially acceptable to charge $12 for chicken parm platter, which usually consists of chicken parm and some pasta on the side. Place that piece of chicken between the two pieces of bread and people won’t pay any more than $7 for it. I’m not going to factor in the loss of spaghetti on the side, as it is obviously of negligible value.
