There’s a reason why they are deleted scenes

October 18, 2005

Deleted scenes in movies suck. That’s why they were deleted. I’ve grown tired of DVDs that brag about deleted scenes. It’s the equivalent of a candy bar company stating that they’ve tried out a bunch of ingredients, identified the ones that tasted bad, removed them from the recipe, but then decided to include them in the package in case you wanted to eat them independently of the final product. Then they pat themselves on the back for giving you a bonus material.

If I wanted to watch hours of unedited footage, I’ll watch a home movie.
